INTRODUCING

Our DigiBuild™ Services are for builders and contractors to take the headache out of their day job.

This is achieved by digitally pre-building their project with specialist 3D modelling software and coordinating the design to a truly buildable solution, ahead of time, all in a format that is seamlessly compatible with the timber off-site factory.

The results are well-coordinated timber buildings that are ready for CNC fabrication and speedy assembly.

Unexpected by-products of this process are:

  • Certainty about programme

  • No need for shop drawings by your timber supplier. Procure based on a fab-ready model (FC Issue) being available to your supplier.

  • Fewer surprises and therefore less rework and delays on site

  • A digital twin adds further value during procurement and install (Ask us how.)

Not as tangible, yet just as important - less headaches and better sleep at night; i.e. better mental health.

Most projects benefit from the DigiBuild™ approach to pre-construction. But in our experience hybrid and bespoke projects benefit most, residential and commercial, whenever multiple systems need coordinating.

Delays and budget blow-outs?

Building successfully with off-site timber systems demands an assembly mindset on site and a different approach to design and pre-construction from the outset.

Traditional construction is relying on the builder resolving details on site while the crane is waiting. This approach is not exactly working for modern timber construction.

We address these pain points for you through DigiBuild™.

Are you ready to get started?

Step 1: DigiBuild™ Review and Hitlist

You submit the design documentation for your project so that we can conduct a high-level review, identifying any issues and opportunities we can spot in the initial assessment.
(Allow minimum 2 - 4 hrs, more for large projects.)

Step 2: DigiBuild™ Scope – Chase or Ignore

You choose what to do next regarding the items identified in Step 1, and we mutually agree on a scope to focus on during technical coordination (Step 3).

Step 3: DigiBuild™ Technical Coordination

We resolve the agreed-upon scope items during the pre-construction phase, such as technical coordination. This is also when supplier shop drawings, site assembly documentation, factory-ready models, and machine files are being produced.

Step 4: DigiBuild™ Construction Guidance

Offsite Design can work alongside your team during construction, including sub-assembly documentation, augmented reality, model-based snagging and QA, until the project is completed.
