A series of glulam cross-over arches; manufactured and delivered by Red Stag Timberlab all the way to the Middle East. The main arches reaching about 18m are intersecting with secondary and tertiary members, forming a shading structure over 100 meters long.
Offsite Design provided technical coordination, fabrication modelling in factory compatible format, including shop drawings for timber and metalwork to this project. All members were pre-finished with compound and bevel cuts in the factory.
Stainless steel wires attached to the glulam arches provide support to the shading plantings so visitors can take shelter from the searing Kuwait heat.
